pipes | drums is an excellent web site for pipers and drummers, and it is produced in Toronto. While it covers a lot of Canadian material, it is also full of great articles on the wider world scene. Cost is about $10/year, but there is a lot of free news material everyday.


Piping Today Magazine

Piping Today Magazine is published by the Piping Centre in Glasgow, Scotland. It covers widely the Highland piping scene, and also other kinds of bagpipes. It is lmore geared towards pipers than drummers.

The Mid-Winter Ceilidh

The Regina Highland Games

This takes place every May long weekend. The Games is always in need of volunteers, so come out to lend a hand! Contact the Games through the web site.

SPBA's "Sound Advice 2011"

This summer school has the best instruction/cost/value in North America, and it's right here in Regina! The school has a top cast of instructors, and happens July 11-16, 2010.
